Madelyn Yost-Mlada Obituary
Madelyn Yost-Mlada, 71, died on Friday November 30, 2012. Madelyn was born September 12, 1941 in Manitowoc, WI. a daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Raymond (Schneider) Yost. Madelyn graduated from St. Mary's Springs Academy in Fond du Lac, WI in 1959.

On August 21, 1959, Madelyn married the love of her life, her best friend, Thomas R. Mlada. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in July, 2009. Madelyn was a hands on Mom until her sixth child entered high school. She then worked for Karen Even Pantel, a very special boss, at the Gingham Girls Cleaning Service over 20 years, where she made many cherished friends.

Madelyn is survived by her loving husband, Thomas, her six children; Carrie (Steven) Jez of Beavercreek, OH, Jill (Jeff) Schuessler of Sheboygan Falls, Raymond (Kelly) Mlada of Chilton, Robin (Mark) Peck of Hartland, Amy (Tim) Winkel of Sheboygan and Thomas J. (Kathy) Mlada of Port Washington. Madelyn is further survived by sixteen grandchildren: Leigh Ann (David) Kopans, Alicia (Todd) Frei, Steven Jez, Justin (Kim) Schuessler, Jordan (Jen) Schuessler, Jacob Schuessler, Brittney Mlada, Brooke (Justin) Bornemann, Erika Galstad, Brianna Galstad, Zachary Winkel, Claire Winkel, Alexander Mlada, Olivia, Evelyn, and Aubrey Mlada; five great-grandchildren, Logan Schuessler, Asher, Rami, Nesi and Peni Kopans. Madelyn was also blessed with her amazing sister, Kathryn Schipper of Green Bay and her wonderful niece and nephews; Timothy (Shellee) Schipper of Fond du Lac, Tamra (Andy) Waterman of Wisconsin Dells and Scott Schipper of Madison as well as her faithful friends; Quinn, Kami and Sullivan, the Irish Setters, and many beloved friends and neighbors.

In addition to her parents, Madelyn was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Klassen and her in-laws, Robert and Carmen Mlada.

Special thanks to Justin for involving Madelyn in his graduation ceremony at Marquette University School of Law with a live cell phone presentation of him receiving his diploma.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Madelyn on Monday December 3, 2012 at 12 Noon at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake. Reverend Dan Volkart will be Celebrant. Cremation will follow the Mass at Westview with final interment at Riverside Cemetery in Oshkosh. Friends may call at the Church from 10:00 am until the time of the Mass.

The Mlada family extends its appreciation to the staff and doctors at the Sheboygan Aurora Clinic and Memorial Medical Center for their care and concern. A Special thanks to Kevin and Sue-Ann Oleck for their support.

A memorial fund has been established in Madelyn's name for the Sheboygan County Humane Society.
