Anhalt, Gregory S. "Greg"

Gregory S. "Greg" Anhalt, age 51, of Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly late Tuesday afternoon (May 21st), at Afinity Calumet Medical Center in Chilton.

He was born on February 22, 1962 in the State of Washington, a son of Don and Mary (Reese-Dulmes) Anhalt.

Greg attended Plymouth grade school and graduated from Elkhart Lake High School in 1980.

He served in the United States Army from 1984 - 1987.

On July 6, 1991 he married Kelly Britton in Elkhart Lake, WI . The couple has resided in Elkhart Lake area since their marriage.

Greg was previously employed at Home Depot in Sheboygan Falls and Sargento Cheese Company in Plymouth.

He was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake.

Greg enjoyed camping, was an outdoorsman and interested in American Indian Lore as well as being a craftsman making wooden lamps.

Survivors include his wife: Kelly of Plymouth, His children: Timothy (Amanda) Anhalt, Alexa Anhalt (Fiancé: Brad Goch) of Elkhart Lake, Brandon(Ashley) Zellner of Fairbanks, Alaska, His twin grandchildren: Cole and Charlotte Anhalt, His parents: Don Anhalt of Sheboygan Falls and Mary (Glen) Dulmes of Sheboygan Falls, His grandfather: Martin Reese of Kiel, Sister: Pauline (Jim) McGowan of Plymouth, One brother-in-law: Kristofer (Tammy) Britton of Manhattan, KS, One sister-in-law: Kristina Ruehl.

Also survived by cousins, aunts and uncles, niece and nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his son: Brett Zellner, mother and father-in-law: Jim and Mary Ann Britton, grandmother: Flora Reese, and grandparents: Norman and Dorothy Anhalt and sister-in-law: Kim Zellner.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, (May28th), at 5:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Dan Volkert, pastor of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church will officiate. Cremation will follow services and Inurnment will be in St. Thomas Aquinas North Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 3:00 P.M. until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund is being established in Greg's name.

The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post #5612 will conduct military rites following the services at the funeral home.
