Bobby attended LakeShore Technical College graduating from the welding program. He then went on to Commercial Dive and Salvage School in New Jersey. He enlisted in the Navy in 2011 as a Navy Diver, completed Naval Divers Academy in Florida and was deployed to Guam. He loved spending time with his family and hanging out with his friends in Guam. He was a parrot enthusiast, enjoyed hiking, fishing, swimming, bike riding and diving. It is diving where his true passion was. From the very first dive, he knew he had found himself, that this is what he would always do. He volunteered with the Special Olympics in Guam, to work with kids on their swimming skills. He wanted to give back to the community. He was recently nominated for the Command Advancement Program, which recognizes stellar Sailors through meritorious advancement in rank.
Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 29, from 9am to 12:45pm. Full military honors will take place at 1pm. If desired, donations to the family for the Special Olympics in Guam are being accepted.
