Clevenger, Eugene W.
Eugene W. Clevenger, 69, of Tomahawk, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, July 6, 2013. Gene was born on July 19, 1943, in Sheboygan, the son of Calvin and Lorraine Bolgard Clevenger. He was first married to Frances Warner and she preceded him in death in 1988. Gene later married Sandra R. Dotz on April 23, 1994, in Fond du Lac. He was formerly employed as a machinist for the Soo Line Railroad, Mercury Marine, and later at Twist Drill in Rhinelander. He had lived in the Fond du Lac area until 1997 when he moved to Tomahawk. He was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomahawk. Gene enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching movies and loved living up north. His greatest passion in life was his family, especially his grandchildren. Gene also loved his dogs Feather and Ivy.
Gene is survived by his wife, Sandy; one daughter, Shari (David) Schultz, Fond du Lac; three sons, Steven (Barb) Senglaub, Boyd, WI, Daniel Senglaub, Sheboygan, WI, and Craig Senglaub, Sheboygan Falls, WI; seven grandchildren, Amanda, Brandon, Brooke, Taylor, Madison, McKenzie, and Morgan. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Frances; and a daughter, Julie.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2013, from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with Rev. Jennifer C. M. Dawson. Burial will take place in St. Charles Cemetery.
