Dear Friends.
I can't remember my age when our families became friends, maybe four or five. You are all special to me. We have kept up through Amy and Heather's friendship, so when we see each other it's as if we are caught up and can begin fresh. I visited Betsy about three weeks ago at Hospice. She shared about her family, her church family and of course as any proud grandmother her grandchildren, all of them.
I asked Betsy if she could recall the time when I was nine years old, our Dads were playing ball for FII, and I threw those little hoppy toads on her and momma, oh yeah, I forgot to mention they were both expecting at the time, who says expectant mothers are slow in the late second trimester. Betsy's concern was that her baby would be afraid of frog's. At the time they were pretty mad and then we all had a good laugh.
My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Remember the good times, have a good laugh, if some bad things rise up, give them to the Lord and have a good cry. HE can turn sorrow into joy.
I love you all, Alice Jones Towery
