Bailey, Danny* - Shelby  
SHELBY- Danny Lee Bailey, 53 of Shelby, passed away Saturday, April 30, 2016, at his residence surrounded by his family. Born June 26, 1962, in Gaffney, South Carolina, Mr. Bailey is the son of Edith Kay Bridges Bailey and the late Roy Lee Bailey. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Gantt. He is survived by three brothers, Randy Bailey (Sherry) of Shelby, David Bailey (Reneea) of Vale and Larry Bailey (Amber) of Shelby; two sisters, Sandra Bailey (Angie) of Shelby and Sharon Nivens of Gaffney, South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. A gathering celebration will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 2, 2016, at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby NC 28150. Online condolence may be made to www.clevelandfuneralservices.com. BERKLEY BELL KINGS MOUNTAIN-Berkley Bell, 57, of Kings Mountain, died April 27, 2016, at Robin Johnson Hospice House, Dallas. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m., at the church, and other times at the home of his mother, Betty Bell, 116 Branchwood Circle, Kings Mountain. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Kings Mountain. Burial will be at Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. Biggerstaff, Bumber* - Shelby  
BUMBER BIGGERSTAFF SHELBY-Bumber Broadus ""Buzz"" Biggerstaff died May 3, 2016, at Carolinas HealthCare System-Cleveland, surrounded by loving family and friends. He was born Dec. 5, 1937, the son of Broadus Biggerstaff and Kate Goode Biggerstaff. He is preceded in death by his son, Alan Scott Biggerstaff, four brothers and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Beth Tarleton Biggerstaff, daughters, Leigh Biggerstaff Russell, Jill Biggerstaff Powell, Kate Biggerstaff Wall and her husband chad; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, Ashley Biggerstaff Blanton and husband, Mitchell Blanton, Elijah Biggerstaff, Gabriel Biggerstaff, Joey Bridges, Chris Bridges, Adam Powell, Isaac Powell, Malarie Wall, Micajah Wall, Bailey Bridges, Zoe Blanton, Sylas Blanton, and Kaden Biggerstaff. He was a faithful member of Boiling Springs United Methodist Church, where he served as Chairman of the Board of Trustees for many years. He was active in his community and was former Chief of the Boiling Springs Volunteer Fire Department, member of the Cliffside Historical Society, Cliffside Cemetery Project, and former Chairman of the Camp Loy White Committee. He graduated from Cliffside High School and Wofford College, and retired from a long career with Cone Mills Corporation in Cliffside, North Carolina. He loved God, his church, his family, his many friends, former classmates, playing golf, camping, and working in his yard. The family will receive friends following the service in the Family Life Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2016, at Boiling Springs Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Teresa Blanton. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County or Boiling Springs United Methodist Church.

REBECCA BRAMLETT SHELBY-Rebecca Christine Bramlett, age 63, of Shelby, passed away May 4, 2016, at Carolinas HealthCare System-Cleveland. Born June 11, 1952, in Cleveland County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Bruce Tate and Miriam Clary Turner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepdad, Claude Lee Turner. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Robert Bramlett of Shelby; daughter, Kristi Leming and husband Casey of Gastonia; sister, Sybil Blanton and husband Joe of Kings Mountain; a granddaughter, Rhaegan Leming; nieces and nephews, Tammy Hill, Rusty Blanton, Jodi Blanton, Frances Ann Bramlett and Rosemary Bramlett. The family will receive friends after the service at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel, officiated by the Rev. Court Greene. Interment will be private and at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. EMILY BRIDGES SHELBY- Mrs. Emily McSwain Bridges, 66, of Shelby, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at her residence. Born Dec. 2, 1949, in Cleveland County, Mrs. Bridges was the daughter of the late Evans McSwain and Nellie Thrift McSwain and was preceded in death by her husband, James Ray Bridges, a son, Charles Ray Bridges, and a brother, Randy McSwain. Mrs. Bridges was a loving and caring woman who was truly loved by her children. She enjoyed puzzle books, looking after her puppies, and working in the yard. She will be missed by those that she touched. She is survived by her children, Angelie Bridges and husband Jerry Tallent of Mooresboro, Gladys Ledbetter and husband Joel of Shelby, Teddy Bridges and wife Chasity of Shelby, and Merle Taylor and husband Curtis of Shelby, grandchildren, Jordan Ledbetter, Justin Ledbetter, Jonathan Ledbetter, Mark Bridges, Jennifer Bridges, Jessica Floyd, Ashley Bridges, Lillian Bridges, Destiny Bridges, Saddie Bridges, Harley Bridges, Wade Taylor, and Zachery Jones, great grandchildren, Teagan Floyd and Hailey Bridges, and sisters, Joyce Hamrick of Shelby and Janice McSwain of Shelby. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 7, 2016, at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel.
