Al Spangler

SHELBY - Mr. Malry Alfred Spangler, III, 69, of Shelby, passed away, Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Peak Resources of Shelby.
A native of Cleveland County, he was born on Oct. 15, 1943, son of the late M. A. Jr. and Ethel Odom Spangler.
He was a lifetime member of First Baptist Church in Shelby where he served as an usher for many years. He was a dedicated employee for Palmer Mortuary for many years.
Al was a friend to everyone he met and will be remembered and missed for his gentle spirit and caring heart.
He is survived by one brother; Don O. Spangler of Shelby; one nephew; Chad Spangler and wife Carmen of Charlotte; one great niece, Parker Spangler and one great nephew, Will Spangler.

Visitation: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at First Baptist Church
Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church Webb Chapel
