Anna White

CASAR-Anna Maude Queen White, 90, of Casar, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at Hospice at Wendover.
Born Jan. 28, 1922, in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Richard "Hubb" Queen and Dovie White Queen. She was a homemaker and a member of Corinth Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Joe R. White; two daughters, Beth Pruett and husband Ron, and Joyce Couey and husband Paul, both of Shelby; four grandchildren, Greg Pruett and wife Cindy, Joel Couey, Brian Couey and wife Yolanda, and Laura Couey; three great-grandchildren, Anna and Jackson Pruett, and Erik Couey; brother, Bonnell Queen of Morganton; and sister, Hetty Harrington of Hiram, Ga.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Saturday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston
