SHELBY - Barbara Ann Daniels, "Bob", 71, of 313 Atlantic Ave. departed this life on November 6, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center Mercy in Charlotte.
Barbara was born in Cleveland County on August 6, 1941 to the late Morris Lipscomb and Hattie Youngblood.
After 30 years of service, Barbara retired from Jenkins Livermush. Barbara was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church where she loved being involved with Seniors On The Move. Barbara loved to watch soap operas and listen to music and every opportunity she got, she wanted to swing dance.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, James Bubba Daniels, one sister, Linnis Youngblood and one brother, Morris Lipscomb.
Barbara leaves to cherish fond memories, one brother, Raymond Youngblood of Charlotte; one son, Dockery (Lucinda) Youngblood of Shelby; three daughters, Dorice Youngblood, Valeria Butler and Vivian Daniels, all of Shelby; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral: Today, 2:30 p.m., at Mount Calvary Baptist Church
Visitation: The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.

I bring you greeting in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, to Dorice, Dockrey,valerie and Viv, my prayers and blessing go out to you all in the lost of ur mother. Just know that weeping may endurth for night but joy comes in the morning. I say to you all just hold on to God's unchanging hand and will be there for you. Mrs. Bob was just like a mother to me ,and she loved herself some Bubba. Doc you had a great mother whom I loved, but God loves her more. She will get to see HER BUBBA again. See you Friday in Madison County. Love all of you.
