Benjamin Larry Lemons

SHELBY-Mr. Benjamin Larry Lemons, 75, of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, at Peak Resources of Shelby.
A native of Cleveland County, Mr. Lemons was the son of the late Benjamin Elzie Lemons and Sudie Bailey Lemons. He worked at Ora Mill for 15 years and later retired from Container Corporation. He liked motorcycles and auto racing. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Deana Wright; two sisters, Lucille Lemons and Elizabeth Carpenter; and one brother, Floyd Lemons.
He is survived by his daughter, Peggy Elswick, of Johnson City, Tenn.; one brother, Harold Lemons and wife Brenda of Lattimore; two sisters, Joyce Gardner,of Shelby and Brenda Wheat of Gaffney, S.C.; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory
