Betty McCraw

MOORESBORO- Betty Jane Humphries McCraw, 80, of Wood Road, Mooresboro, died on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at SECU Hospice House of Rutherford County.
A native of Rutherford County, she was born on Oct. 20, 1932, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Lillie Ree Jolley Humphries. She formerly worked for Peeler Rugs and for Hamricks. She was a faithful member of Prospect Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher and WMU Director.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Guy McCraw. She is survived by her sons, Mitchell McCraw and wife Rhonda of Forest City, Dale McCraw and wife Pam and Steve McCraw and wife Tina, all of Mooresboro; one brother, Allen Humphries of Lenoir; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
Funeral Service: 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Prospect Baptist Church
