Charles Sain

POLKVILLE- Charles Alfred Sain, 72, of 2005 West Stagecoach Trail, Polkville, passed away Friday, May 3, 2013, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby.
Mr. Sain was born in Cleveland County on May 3, 1941, to the late Clyde Franklin Sain and Iva Lee Turner Sain.
He was retired from Ora Mill as a supervisor and was a member of Polkville Baptist Church. He was an avid Massey Harris antique tractor collector, and restoring antique tractors was his passion. Mr. Sain was also one of the organizers for the Belwood Antique Tractor Show for many years.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marjorie Cook Sain; three daughters, Sherrie Earl and husband Steven of Fallston, Pam Towery and husband Dwayne of Lawndale, and Lisa Hamrick and husband Robert of Lattimore; two brothers, Michael Sain and wife Elaine of Polkville, and Steve Sain and wife Larea of Lawndale; three sisters, Doris Berryhill and husband Roy of Charlotte, Kay Hagger and husband Willie of Charlotte, and Diane Heavner of Fallston; six grandchildren, Brandon Hamrick, Josh Hamrick, April Hamrick, Tyler Earl, Makayla Earl and Isaiah Towery; and one great-grandchild, Kaylan Hamrick.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Polkville Baptist Church, Polkville. At other times, the family will be at the home, 2005 West Stagecoach Trail, Polkville.
