Della Faye Murray

WACO - Della Faye Scism Murray, 75, of Waco, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby. Born in Cleveland County on Feb. 23, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Albert Scism and Helen Louise Cash Scism.
Mrs. Murray was retired from Cleveland County Schools as a secretary. She was a member of Waco Baptist Church, where she served as a former Sunday school teacher and GA leader, and also served in many other capacities at the church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil M. Murray.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Alan Murray and Vickie; a daughter and son-in-law, Anne White and Kimball; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack Scism and Betty Sue, all of Waco; four grandchildren, Michelle and Alex Murray, Veronica Ingle and Samantha Van Dyke; and three great-grandchildren, Chloe and Riley Ingle and Lucas Van Dyke.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Waco Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the service.

Burial: Will be at Capernaum Cemetery in Waco
