Freddy Perry

MOORESBORO-Freddy Allen Perry, 67, of Mooresboro, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby.
A native of Chauncy, W. Va., he was born on July 25, 1945, to the late Rev. George Francis Perry and Nora Emma Rice Perry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Patsy Blankenship; and one granddaughter, Kailyn Watts.
Mr. Perry is survived by one son, George Francis Perry of Mooresboro; two daughters, Christina Watts of Mooresboro, and Doanie Lemberger of the home; two brothers, Buddy Perry and Don Perry, both of Ohio; and one sister, Joanne Bailey of Rodcliff Kentucky. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Mark Andrew Griffin Jr., Dustan Griffin, Dawn Griffin, and Cheyanne Perry.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at McKinney-Landreth and Carroll Funeral and Cremation Service.
Celebration of Life Service: 2 p.m. Sunday at Faith Baptist Church, Rutherfordton. The body will lie in view for 30 minutes prior to the service.
Burial: Ervin Hill Cemetery, Mooresboro, following the service
