Iris Hamrick Emery

SHELBY – Mrs. Iris Hamrick Emery, 85, of 1506 S. Morgan St., died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late James and Odessa McGinnis Riddle. She was a faithful member of Christopher Road Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Ben Hamrick; and sisters, Sara Carr and Billie Herndon.
She is survived by her son, Craig Hamrick of the home; two daughters, Janice "Jan" Hamrick Walker of Hickory and Benita Runyans of Earl; sister, Betty Allen Stubbs of Shelby; granddaughter, Amanda Clucas of Gaffney; three great-grandchildren, Aubreanna, Luke, and Katilyn Clucas; and many special nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service: Sunday, 3 p.m., at Christopher Road Baptist Church
Visitation: The family will receive friends Sunday, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., at the church, and other times at her home.

Burial: Monday, 2 p.m., at Cleveland Memorial Park
