Janice Lee

SHELBY- Janice Hoyle Lee, of Melody Lane, passed away on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013.
She was born in Cleveland County on Oct. 1, 1932, to the late Jack David and Flavie Brittain Hoyle. She was a graduate of Piedmont High School and the Howard Business College. Janice worked for 22 years as a teacher's assistant with the Cleveland County Schools. She was a faithful member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church with many years of active service as member of the Chancel Choir and the Bayliss Fellowship Class.
Janice is survived by her by her husband of 60 years, Carme Elam Lee; son, Daniel Carme Lee and his wife Kim of Shelby; two granddaughters, Jessica Lee and Chelsea Lee; three sisters, Ruby Hoyle and Doris Lattimore of Shelby, and Shirley Tate of Boiling Springs, S.C. and their families.
The family gratefully acknowledges the kindness and generosity of the staff of The Life Enrichment and White Oak Nursing Home.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Celebration of Life Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Aldersgate United Methodist Church

Burial: will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Cemetery
