Jimmy Emory

SPARTANBURG, S.C.-Paul Ray (Jimmy) Emory, 70, of 72 Sara Lynn Court, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Mary Black Memorial Hospital.
Born in Clifton, he was the husband of Patricia Maynor Emory and son of the late Paul Mitchell Emory and Eva Robinson Emory.
Mr. Emory was formerly employed by Atlantic Soft Drinks, was a Mason and Shriner, and loved the Lord and his church. He was a U. S. Army veteran and member of Morris Memorial Baptist Church in Casar.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three sons, Michael Emory and wife Gena of Spartanburg, Rev. Chris Emory and wife Tammy of Casar, and Anthony Emory and wife Taylor of Boiling Springs, S.C.; a daughter, Lisa Rae McDaniel of Spartanburg; five grandchildren, Christopher Emory, Jonathan Emory, Joy Emory, Shelly Barnette and Matthew Emory.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Blakely Funeral Home. The family will also be at the residence, 72 Sara Lynn Court, Spartanburg.
Funeral Service: Noon Saturday in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel
