Joyce Watson

FOREST CITY - Joyce Lowery Watson, 62, of Bethany Church Road, Forest City, formerly of Shelby, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 at Hospice House of Forest City.
Born in Spartanburg County, SC, she was the daughter of Betty Hardin Lowery of Forest City, and the late Roy Lowery. She worked for many years as a teller for First Union Bank in Shelby, and Kings Mountain and had also worked as the director for several daycare facilities in Cleveland County. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church in Forest City and enjoyed traveling, camping and card games.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Gary Dean Watson of the home; a daughter, Sharon Morrison and husband Brian of Shelby; a stepdaughter, Melissa Gail "Missy" Brittain and husband Shane of Shelby; a sister, Pat Millwood and husband Donnie of Forest City and a granddaughter, Nicole Poston Walker and husband Justin.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 4-6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Padgett & King Mortuary
Funeral Service: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Crestview Baptist Church, Forest City

Burial: Cool Springs Cemetery
