Lucy Glenn

SHELBY - Lucy Mae London Glenn, 82, departed this life Jan. 17, 2014, at Hospice Wendover, Shelby. She was born Dec. 9, 1931.
She worked for the late John Sperlings, owner of Lloyds Men Shops.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Miller Glenn; her mother, Annie Bell Sloans; step-father, Richards Sloans; brother, Robert London; and adopted son, Charles Graham Davis.
She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Elizabeth A. Watson (Libby) and Theresa G. Rice (Poochie); five grandchildren, Phillip Watson (Pam), R.L. Watson (Debra), Pam Watson, Konica Rice of Georgia and Arletta Rice of the home; six great-grandchildren, Tony Watson, Aaron Watson, Denzel Gulatte, Dameon Gulatte, Makayla Watson and Chris Brantley; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many others adopted as children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Lucy loved cats.
A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Thursday at Genesis Funeral Service and Chapel.
