Margie Mayes

KINGS MOUNTAIN - Margie Lee Beaver Mayes, 77, of 1121 Stoney Point Rd., passed away Friday, April 11, 2014, at Hospice of Wendover.
A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Noah Lee and Altie Campbell Beaver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Junior Mayes, and a brother, Lyman Beaver.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Jerry and Susan Mayes, William and Jean Mayes, Tammy Mayes, and Lucas and Jennifer Mayes, all of Shelby; Jack Mayes, Laura and Charles Martin, and Lucy and Bobby Davis, all of Kings Mountain; Patty and Calvin Morrison, and Susie and Lewis Morrison of Polkville; and Charles and Leslie Mayes of Tennessee; four brothers, Eugene Beaver, Marshall Beaver, Larry Beaver and Tommy Beaver; two sisters, Elizabeth Bailey and Ruth Williams; 20 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday, April 13, at Lutz-Austell Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lutz-Austell Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will follow at Prospect Baptist Church in Cliffside.
