Norman Aleshire

SHELBY-Mr. Orville Norman Aleshire, 76, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Born on June 27, 1936, in Springfield, Ohio, he was the son of the late Orville Rice Aleshire and Mary Ellen Miller. He served in the Merchant Marines and was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church.
Mr. Aleshire is survived by his wife of 15 years, Jean Braswell Aleshire; a son, Wayne Aleshire of Texas; a step daughter, Kathy Franklin of S.C.; three sisters, Thelma Aleshire and Bettye Roady, both of Texas, and Ruth Fields of Okla.; and grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
Funeral Service: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Elizabeth Baptist Church

Burial: Church cemetery, following the service
