Ollie Bridges

CHERRYVILLE- Mrs. Ollie Belle Sanders Bridges, 88, of Old Stubbs Road, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at her home.
Ollie was born on Dec. 1, 1923, in York County, S.C., the daughter of the late Alfred and Myrtle Hicks Sanders. A member of Waco Baptist Church, and a graduate of Waco High School, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister to her siblings. She formerly worked at Sweetree and Hewlett's Manufacturing Company as a seamstress.
Ollie was preceded in death by her husband, Paul T. Bridges; son and daughter-in-law, Paul Jr. and Brenda Bridges; grandchildren, Mark Bridges, Tim Bridges and Randy Bridges; brothers, Durale Sanders and L. C. Sanders; and sisters, Vera Sanders, Nellie Costner and Thelma Costner.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Ray Dean and Shelia Bridges, Wayne and Theresa Bridges, all of Cherryville, and Jasper and Linda Bridges of Shelby; grandchildren, Shannon Bridges, Melanie Ellis, Dennis Ray Bridges, Kelly Parnell and Shelly Pierce, all of Shelby, Bryan Bridges, Angela Bridges, and Paula Sibla, all of Cherryville, and Cindy Brown of Lawndale; numerous great and great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Margaret Ward of Woodruff, S. C., and Annie Faye Owens of Lawndale.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Carpenter's Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Thursday at Cone Memorial Chapel of Carpenter's Funeral Home

Burial: Capernaum Cemetery, Waco, following the service
