SHELBY-Aileen Thompson Spikes, 66, of 715 Hampton Street, Shelby, departed this life on Monday, Jan. 22, 2013, at Hospice of Wendover.
She was born Sept. 22, 1946, to the late Haywood Sr. and Eunice Allen Thompson.
She was preceded in death in addition to her parents, by her husband, Willie Spikes; a sister, Doris Thompson; one brother, Bobby Thompson; and one nephew, Randy Thompson.
She leaves to cherish fond memories two sons, Stanley Spikes and Gregory Spikes; three grandchildren; and a host of nieces and other relatives and friends.
Visitation: The family will receive friends at 1:30 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Funeral Service: 2 p.m. Saturday at Christ Temple Church
