BOILING SPRINGS-Betty Neil Walker, 76, of Boiling Springs, died at Kings Mountain Hospice House.

Born in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Carey Lynch Walker and Velma Greene Walker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Billy Gene Walker and Jackie Moore Walker.
She graduated from Boiling Springs High School and Gardner-Webb Junior College. Betty worked for many years and retired from Dallas School for Disabled Children. She also sold Avon Products in the Boiling Springs area. She was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Mary Kate Walker of Ridgeland, Miss.; nephews, Chris Ramsey and wife Trish of Ridgeland, Miss., Carey Walker and wife Crea of Ireland; niece, Michelle Gamarsh and husband Scott of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and many loving nieces and nephews and extended family members.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service in the Life Enrichment Center at the church.
Celebration of Life Service: 3 p.m. Saturday at Boiling Springs Baptist Church
