Carolyn Kiser Obituary

KINGS MOUNTAIN -Carolyn Hayes Kiser, 71, resident of 702 Meadowbrook Road, Kings Mountain, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 2, 2013, at Wendover Hospice, Shelby.
She was born in Cleveland County to the late Revis and Ola Hayes.
Mrs. Kiser was an active member of Penley's Chapel Church, Kings Mountain, where she sang in the choir and was famous for her wonderful cooking.
She was always willing to help anyone in need, and was a natural caregiver and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was a former employee of Kings Mountain Hospital.
She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Anderson Hayes, Roy Hayes, Voyd Hayes, and Ed Hayes; and sisters, Ruth Hayes Bowen, Katherine Hayes Arrowood, Jean Hayes Arrowood, and Jeanette Hayes Arrowood.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jim Kiser of Kings Mountain; daughter, Susan Hammitt, and husband Jeff of Casar; and grandchildren, Megan and fiancé Ben Ross, Madeline, Mark, and Kevin.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Harris Funeral Home
Funeral Service: 3 p.m. Wednesday, Penley's Chapel Church

Burial: Mountain Rest Cemetery, Kings Mountain
