SARANAC- Charles A. Moore, 73, of Strackville Road, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Fletcher Allen Medical Center in Burlington, Vt.
He was born in Lakewood, N.J., on May 17, 1939, the son of G. Daniel and Margaret (Maisch) Moore.
Charles worked in construction for Carter Trucking and Black Topping. He was an avid NASCAR fan and nature lover.
Survivors include two sons, Charles "Chuck" L. Moore and his partner Mary Kay Miluski of Forked River, N.J., and Daniel C. Moore of Saranac; four daughters, Kandi Lee Hancock and her husband Donald "Jim" of Elkridge, Md., Joyce Haugen and her husband Victor of Salisbury, Margaret E. Pribble and her husband John of Shelby, and Karen Lee Moore of Eugene, Ore.; nine grandchildren, Dennis Hancock and his wife Connie, Kevin Hancock, Caitlin Hancock, Erik C. Moore, Jaime Lin Moore, Stephanie Marie Haugen, Katherine Joyce Haugen, Victor R. Haugen Jr. and his wife Suzanne, and Chloe Marie Moore; and two great-grandchildren, Victor R. Haugen III and Kristian K. Haugen.
There will be no public calling hours or funeral services.
