He is preceded in death by his grandparents, William Britt Robertson and Cassie Seay Robertson and Mr. and Mrs. Franklin D. Dill; father-in-law, Red Johnson; sister-in-law, Cathi Johnson; and nephew, Nathan Lane.
Buck is survived by his wife of 29 years, Kathy Johnson Robertson; brother, Bill Robertson and wife Cathy; two step-brothers, Sonny Davis (Debbie) and Morris Davis (Lisa); nieces, Amy Robertson, Kellie (Chad) Rick and Anissa (Steven) Kozicki; nephews, Shane, Zac, and Jonathan (Ashley) Johnson, and Rodney (Ronda) and Chris (Stephanie) Hamrick; Ashley, Shawn (Jana), Mitchell and Jed Davis; special aunt, Mary Avery; mother-in-law, Mona Johnson; three brothers-in-law, Dennis, Cliff (Linda) and Jeff Johnson (Wanda); and many great-nieces and nephews.
Buck loved NASCAR, collecting Elvis memorabilia and watching the Green Bay Packers. Buck had the best sense of humor and always kept those around him laughing, even to the end. Later in life Buck had many health problems, but he did not lose his sense of humor. He loved to be surrounded by his friends and family. He worked many years with SACO plumbing supply, Robertson electrical controls and various construction jobs. Buck was a member of the Shelby church of Christ.
We would like to thank all of the nurses at Hospice for the excellent care they gave to Buck during his final days.
