BESSEMER CITY - Faye Johnson Thomas, 71, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2014, at Hospice at Wendover in Shelby. Mrs. Thomas was born in Gaston County on June 5, 1942, a daughter of the late Roy Johnson and Pat Turner Cabe.
She was a member of Plainview Baptist Church in Dallas and was retired as owner and operator of Fantasy Floral and Gift in Dallas.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Mark Williams; and a brother, Roy Carl Johnson.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jeff Clevenger and Kelli of Polkville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Kim Alexander and Donald of Cherryville and Michelle Suzan Thomas of Gastonia; seven grandchildren, Bryce Alexander and wife Natasha, Matt Willis and wife Candace, Ashley Koch and husband Aaron, Aaron Chatham, Josh Clevenger and wife LeNae, Allyssa Pearson and Kendall Pearson; three great-grandchildren, Sierra and Bryer Alexander and Bailey Clevenger; and special family members, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Sanders and family.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1:45 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Funeral service: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Stamey-Cherryville Funeral Home Chapel

Burial: Will be at Hollywood Cemetery in Gastonia
