BOILING SPRINGS- Hazel Byrd Hollifield Wilson, 90, of Boiling Springs, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012 at Hospice of Cleveland County.

A native of Rutherford County, she was born Mar. 1, 1922, to the late Clifford and Zinnie Lovelace Hollifield. She was a member of Cleveland County Quilters Guild, the "Golden Girls," and Sharon United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband Carl Wood Wilson; and a granddaughter, Andrea Beth Blackwell.
She is survived by her three children, Beverly Wilson Blackwell and husband Ron of Boiling Springs, Thomas Maxwell Wilson and wife Linda of Ellenboro, and Dr. Clifford Byron Wilson and wife Deborah of Boiling Springs; four grandchildren, Steven Blackwell and wife Amber of Newport, Kathy Wilson Kring of Ellenboro, Jennifer Wilson Allen and husband Preston of Ellenboro, and Travis Wood Wilson and wife Meredith of Oxford; and four great grandchildren, Conner Lela Kring, Jake Wilson, Avery Wilson and Caitlin Allen.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday
Funeral Service: 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Sharon United Methodist Church. The body will lie in view thirty minutes before the service.
