BOILING SPRINGS-Mrs. Irene Black Ledford, 90, of 124 Green Avenue, died Monday, April 15, 2013, at Hospice at Wendover.
A native of Gainsville, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Clara Ivey Black. She was a member of Zoar Baptist Church, where she and her husband Andrew, looked after the church for many years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rhonda Green Crotts; five sisters; and three brothers.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Andrew Ledford of the home; son, Mike Russ of Grover; two daughters, Hazel R. Tessenair and husband Bob of New House, Peggy R. McSwain of Boiling Springs; brother, Roy Black of Shelby; and grandson, Michael Crotts of New House.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church, and other times at her home.
Funeral Service: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Zoar Baptist Church

Burial: Cleveland Memorial Park
