SHELBY - Jerry Douglas Page, 80, died Monday, June 9, 2014, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. Born in Cleveland County on Oct. 18, 1933, he was the son of the late Colon and Thelma Bland Page.
He was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Mr. Page retired from Doran Textiles after 40 years of service. He loved spending time with family and was present for his grandchildren's sporting events.
Mr. Page was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Wright Page; and his brother, Jack Page.
Jerry is survived by his son, Douglas Page and wife Debbie; two grandchildren, Makayla Page and Orion Page; and a brother, Morris Page and wife Brenda of Shelby.
Visitation: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Friday at Northside Baptist Church
Officiated by: The Rev. Neal Efrid
Burial: Will be held at Cleveland Memorial Park following the service.
Funeral home: Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.
