MOORESBORO-Joe Jones, 57, of 3215 Cliffside Road, Mooresboro, died Oct. 27, 2012 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Dan Jones and Mary Brackett Jones, and was also preceded in death by an infant brother, Joseph Henry Jones.
Mr. Jones had served as an auctioneer and worked as a fork lift operator at Clearwater Paper. He was a member of the Friendship Masonic Lodge, a former member of the Boiling Springs Rural Fire Department and the N. C. Auctioneers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Trudie Jones of the home; two daughters, Liza Jones and Chris Wilson of Blacksburg, S.C., and Sierra Jones of the home; one son, Clay Jones of Shelby; two sisters, Dana Reynolds of Shelby and Sherry Davis and husband Mel of Beaufort; grandchildren, Aryana Jones, Natalya Hamilton, Brock Wilson, Brian Wilson; and is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a special friend, Jon Jordan.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory, and other times at the home. Family headquarters is at the home, 3215 Cliffside Road, Mooresboro.
