KINGS MOUNTAIN - Leila Parker Lyle, 82, formerly of 109 Planters Lane, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, Oct. 5, 2012 at White Oak Manor.

Born in Gaffney, SC, she was the widow of Arthur Lyle and the daughter of the late William Forrest Parker and Corrie Bratton Parker. Mrs. Lyle was retired from Timken and a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church in Shelby.
She is survived by six brothers, Henry Parker and wife, Frances of Blacksburg, SC, Charles Parker and wife, Harriett of Gaffney, SC, Bobby Parker of Blacksburg, SC, Lee Parker and wife, Carolyn of Blacksburg, SC, Forrest Parker and wife, Gerry of Kings Mountain and The Rev. Perrin Parker and wife, Diane of Blacksburg, SC; a sister, Betty Harrington of Gaffney, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Lyle was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Parker and Jake Parker.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m. Sunday at Blakely Funeral Home. The family will be at the home of Betty Harrington, 711 Fairview Road.
