SHELBY- Louise Tucker Bridges, 77, of 904 East Main Street, formerly of Kings Mountain, left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at Cleveland Regional Hospital. She was born in Cleveland County, daughter of the late Floyd and Mamie Howard Hullender, and was preceded in death by her first husband, Jerry Tucker; and brothers Bob Hullender and Larry Hullender.

She was a member of First Baptist Church and a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. She retired from nursing after 40 years working for the McGill Clinic in Kings Mountain and Bel Aire Nursing Center of Gastonia. She was a caregiver, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of three years, Bill G. Bridges of Shelby; son, Jerry "Tucky" Tucker, Jr. and wife Karen of Kings Mountain; step-son, Tim Bridges and wife Jennifer of Vale; step-daughter, Anna McCall and husband Charlie of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Jeremy Tucker, Josh Tucker, Katie Tucker, Chloe Bridges, Jennifer McSwain, and Jesse Fowler; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Kayla McSwain, and Jordan and Makenzie Fowler; and her beloved dog, "Sugar."
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Harris Funeral Home, and at other times at her home, 904 East Main Street, Shelby, and at the home of the son, 208 Wintergreen Drive, Kings Mountain.
Funeral service: 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Kings Mountain
