GROVER - Louise Hull Meeks, 80, of 116 Temple Drive Grover, departed this life on Monday, July 1, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospital in Kings Mountain, NC.

She was born on January 23, 1931 in Cherokee, SC to the late John and Geneva Ross Hull.
Mrs. Meeks was a member of St. Peter Missionary Baptist Church and was employed with Universal Manufacturing for over 25 years before re-tiring. In her free time, she enjoyed quilting cooking and going to yards sales.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Benjamin "BJ" Meeks; a daughter, Dorothy Meeks; a son, Ben Meeks, a sister, Margaret Ruth Hull and her brothers, Vester Hull, Cecil Hull, Les Hull, Roy Hull and Jimmy Hull.
She leaves to cherish fond memories, a daughter, Mahilda Brooks (Alfred) of Grover; three sons, Troy Meeks (Sunday), Dennis Meeks (Elaine) and Wayne Meeks (Brenda) all of Shelby; two sisters, Inez Hull of Blacksburg, SC and Gladys Hull of Shelby; sisters-in-law, Monicue Meeks, Shirley Smith and Ozzie Smith all of Shelby and Pat Hull of Gaffney, SC; 14 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Peter Baptist Church with Pastor William Thompson officiating.
Burial will take place at the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from noon until 1 p.m. and at other times at the home of her daughter, 118 Temple Drive, Grover.
