CONWAY, S.C.-Ray A. Mode Jr., 55, passed away March 19, 2013, after a two year battle with cancer.

Mr. Mode was born Dec. 3, 1957, in Shelby. He was the son of the late Janice V. Dickover and Ray A. Mode Sr.
Mr. Mode is survived by two sisters, Judy Mode of Conway, and Dawn Currie of Pawleys Island, S.C. He never married. Mr. Mode was the loving uncle to two nieces, Julianna Arrowood of Conway, and Caitlin Currie of Pawleys Island; one great-nephew, Jory Trevino; one great-niece, Brianna Arrowood; and one great-great-niece, all of Conway.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. Friday at Goldfinch Funeral Home.
