KINGS MOUNTAIN-Raymond "Ray" Greenberg, 91, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of the late Samuel and Eva Greenberg. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Mitchell Greenberg; and his son, Robert Greenberg.
Ray was a retired vice president of export from Curtiss Wright. He was a very creative and talented man and respected all around the world. Ray was an accomplished artist through paintings and woodcarvings. He was a big sports fan and loved his extensive traveling with Phyllis throughout Asia and Europe. Ray will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, and friend.
Mr. Greenberg is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Phyllis Wecker Greenberg; his son, Gary Greenberg and wife Candace of Cape Neddick, Maine; and grandsons, Alex Greenberg of Wake Forest, and Dan Greenberg of Biddeford, Maine.
Service: A celebration of life gathering of friends will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at 128 Harbortown Drive, Kings Mountain.
