KINGS MOUNTAIN-- Reba Odom Jolley, 93, resident of Kings Mountain, died Aug. 6, 2013, at Ocean Trails, Southport.

She was born in Rutherford County, to the late Ambrose Jessie Odom and Willie Bell McFarland Odom.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tillman Harlan Jolley; son Charles Henry Jolley; brothers, Robert Gene Odom, Max Odom; sisters, Ailene Odom Miller, Mildred Odom Alman, and Jewell Dalton.
Mrs. Jolley was a member of Resurrection Lutheran Church, Kings Mountain. She was retired from Burlington Industries after 30 years of service and worked in security at Spectrum. She was the Author of "Farmer's Daughter" published in 2005. She also has a book of Poetry in the National Library of Congress. She was a professional square dancer who performed in "Sword of Gideon," a play of the American Revolution.
She is survived by daughter, Teresa J. Teachey, Southport; Grandchildren, Myra Jolley Blalock, Heather Sugg, and Thomas C. Sugg; and four Great Grandchildren.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, Kings Mountain
Funeral Service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Resurrection Lutheran Church
