SHELBY- Ronald Wyattman "Ronnie" Humphries, 73, of Shelby, died Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013, at his residence.
A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Marion Humphries and Lorene Humphries. Mr. Humphries worked and later retired from Sun-Drop/Choice U.S.A. Bottling Company after 50 years of service. He was an avid bass fisherman and was a member of Cleveland County Bass Club. He was a member of Christopher Road Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda H. Humphries of the home; daughter, Mimi Rollins and husband Phillip of Shelby; brother, Gary Huntsinger and wife Frances of Waco; two sisters, Judy Davis and husband Ronald of Cherryville and Linda Bost and husband Wayne of Concord; and two grandchildren, Lucas Rollins and Casey Rollins.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Cleveland Funeral Services & Crematory.
Funeral Service: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Christopher Road Baptist Church
