KINGS MOUNTAIN-- Sandra Gaddy Marlow, 68, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at Kings Mountain Hospice House.

A native of Cleveland County, she was born Sept. 6, 1944, daughter of the late Jack Eddings and Lona Mae Pearson Gaddy. She was a devoted and active member of Christian Freedom Baptist Church where she loved to worship her Lord and Savior. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Everyone that knew Sandy loved her; just by looking at her you could tell she loved each person she encountered, but most of all she loved Christ and what He did for her. She was a truly loving Christian and dear friend who loved her church and church family. Her contagious smile will be missed by many people.
She is survived by two sons, Keith Marlow, and Scott Marlow and fiancé Christin Turner, all of Shelby; two daughters, Donna Marlow Willis of Shelby, and Robbin Marlow Johnson and husband Tony of Grover; two sisters, Joy Brown and husband Rocky, and Ann Johnston, all of Kings Mountain; one brother, Jimmy Gaddy of Cherryville; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church and other times at her sons home, 508 Davis Road, Shelby, NC 28152.
Funeral Service: 1 p.m. Friday at Christian Freedom Baptist Church
Officiating: The Rev. Michael Chambers
Burial: Will immediately follow in the church cemetery
