GROVER - Sara Christine Beaty, 53, of Grover, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 in the compassionate, capable care of Hospice Cleveland County.
She was the youngest child of her late parents, Joe Runyan and Betty Wells; her siblings are Bobby, Sheila, Joe, and Marty. Extended family includes James Mann and Chad and B.J. Runyans.
Tina was predeceased by her adored son, Jon Thompson Campbell, and his dog Puddin'.
Tina leaves one son, Anthony Campbell, one daughter Anna Meredith Campbell, and one grandchild, "Momo's Baby Gage" Presnell, whom she nurtured like a flower. Ex-husband Mike Campbell remained a life-long friend.
She was an artist, a poet, and a lover of nature. And Tina knew a secret-that all real art lies in our perceptions and happens within us. This is why she taught 5-year-old Gage to see a dandelion-covered hill of grass as his "garden."
We will gather soon for a celebration and remembrance of Tina's life; this will be announced informally through friends.
If you wish to join us in remembering Tina, please help a child feed the birds and plant some flowers, and help them learn to watch nature closely and with wonder.
And find a way to take a child blackberry picking.
