GAFFNEY S.C. - Mr. Shannon Lincoln Hamrick, 36, of 305 Hampton Blvd., went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Sept. 27, 2008.
Born in Rock Hill, S.C., he was the husband of Chasity Tindall Hamrick and the son of Barry and Judy McDaniel Hamrick. Mr. Hamrick was an executive with Hamrick's Inc. and an active member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He was a Cherokee County Little League Baseball Coach and an avid sportsman.
Surviving are two sons, Bryce Lincoln Hamrick and Brock Lyndon Hamrick of the home; a daughter, Natali Brynn Hamrick, also of the home; a sister, Caroline Hamrick Dover of Gaffney; a nephew, Drake Hamrick; two half brothers, Rusty Hudson and Elvis Jackson, both of Rock Hill; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.Z. McDaniel of Blacksburg, S.C.; a special uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Little, and their daughters, Reba Flores and Robin Satterwhite; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mr. Hamrick was preceded in death by a sister, Natali Brook Hamrick; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Hamrick.
Visitation: The family received friends from 12 to 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Hopewell Baptist Church.
Funeral: 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Hopewell Baptist Church
