CHERRYVILLE - Tommy Baxter III, 32 of 2571 Thomas Baxter Lane passed away Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 6, 1978 in Cleveland County, he was employed by RCS in Charlotte and Triple B One Stop. He was a member of Bess Chapel United Methodist Church.
Tommy was preceded in death by his grandfather, Thomas Worth Baxter, Sr.; grandmother, Clara Nell Hallman and aunts, Linda Baxter and Brenda Hight.
He is survived by his father, Tom Baxter, Jr. and Karen Elliott of Cherryville; his mother, Kathy and Bud Foster of Sherrills Ford; a son, Gage Thomas Baxter of the home; twin daughters, Abigail Nicole Baxter and Hannah Paige Baxter both of the home; sister and best friend, Malinda Baxter Smith and husband, Allen of Cherryville; paternal grandmother, Mabel Baxter of Cherryville; maternal grandfather, Junous Hallman of Lincolnton. He is also survived by a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday at Stamey~Cherryville Funeral Home
Funeral Service: 3 p.m. Friday at Bess Chapel United Methodist Church. The body will be placed in the church thirty minutes before the service.
