TOLUCA-Valeria Shuford Hallman, 100, formerly of Toluca passed away Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center in Shelby.
Born July 12, 1912, in Cherryville, she was a daughter of the late Wiley A. Shuford and Sallie Dellinger Shuford. Mrs. Hallman worked as a nurse for Edwards Clinic for more than 40 years and was a member of Norman's Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ambrose F. Hoyle and John A. Hallman; and sister, Lavada Shuford Dellinger.
Mrs. Hallman is survived by her son, Elbert Shuford Hoyle of Lawndale.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.
Funeral Service: 3 p.m. Sunday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston
