SHELBY - Mr. Felix Mintz, 85, of 2310 Mason Street was born Jan. 1, 1927 in Cleveland County to the late Anthony and Lela Mintz.
He departed this life on June 22, 2012 at Hospice of Kings Mountain.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories three daughters Ruby M. Gaffney, Annie Mae M. Huskey (Leonard) both of Shelby and Betty M. Padgett of Cherryville; two sisters, Lonia M. McSwain of Shelby and Essie M. McSwain of Grover; a sister-in-law, Johnnie Mae Morrison of Cleveland, Ohio; 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. At other times, the family will be at the home on 2310 Mason Street, Shelby
Funeral Service: 3 p.m. today at Ellis Chapel Baptist Church in Patterson Springs
Officiated By: Pastors Ray Lockhart and Simon McClain
Burial: First Baptist Church cemetery, Earl
Funeral Home: Genesis Funeral Services and Chapel is serving the family
