GREENSBORO - Doshia Greene Clary, 91, passed away July 1, 2013, at Heartland Living and Rehabilitation.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel with the Rev. Michael Owens officiating.

Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel, 515 N. Elm Street. All other times the family will gather at the home of her daughter Lavondia Cooke.

She was born on June 19, 1922 in Shelby, NC to the late Ralph and Ada Fowler Greene. She was married to the late Horace Clary.

She was a member of Gate City Baptist Church and the ZIP Sunday school class.

She was preceded in death by her son William Norris Clary; four brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Clary is survived by her daughters Lavondia C. Cooke (Shannon) and Brenda McMurray (Sam); grandchildren, Beth Austin (Marty), Lynn Apple, T.L. Clary (Becky), Kelly Clary, Dawn Lee Bry-son (Ken) and Seth Vernon (Shannon); great grandchildren, Brittany, Lynsey, Nicholas, Nicole, Hunter, Connor, Amber, Amanda, Erica and one great great grandchild Aniya; five sisters, Leitha Smith, Vera Weathers, Blanch Gettys (Hix), Joann Luckadoo and Annette Cooke (Earnest).

The family wishes to thank Heartland Living and Rehab and Liberty Hospice for the care given to Doshia. Special thanks to all family and friends for your love and support.
