SHELBY - E. Marie Roseboro departed this life and entered into eternal life on May 31, 2014. She was born Dec. 11, 1930, to Theodore Roosevelt Long and Essie Dogwood Long.

She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Flora Surratt Long; a son, Theodore R. Roseboro; her husband, Elijah Roseboro; a brother, Jacob T. Long; her sister, Edna Long Howard; and a step-sister, Lucille Surratt Brown.
She is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Adams (John); sons, Rev. Lawrence J. Roseboro (Priscilla), Donald E. Roseboro, and Robert L. Roseboro; granddaughter, Lauren Huskey (Marice);grandsons, Preston Roseboro (Morgan) and Jonathan Adams; and great-grandsons, Prentice Huskey and Elijah Roseboro; one sister-in-law, Dessie Lowe; and loving family friend, Cookie (Imogene Robinson)
She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church, where she served as a member of the Senior Missionary Circle and the Women's Choir. She retired from Cleveland Regional Medical Center where she was employed for twenty years.
She was a quiet, gentle, kind, and loving person who touched many lives in positive ways. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Visitation: The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. At other times, they will meet at Rev. Lawrence Roseboro, 1301 Rainbow Dr., Shelby.
Funeral service: 2 p.m. Friday at Shiloh Baptist Church, Shelby
