SHELBY - Brenda Kaye Harris Eaves, 59, of 1226 Webb Drive, entered eternal rest on July 22, 2014, at Kings Mountain Hospice.

She was born in Boiling Springs, daughter of Ina Mae Rice Harris and the late Fred Harris.
Mrs. Eaves attended Youngs Grove Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Shelia Howell.
Surviving are a son, Geno Eaves of Manson; five daughters, Meriam Hull (Rev. Michael) of Gaffney, Tajsha Eaves of Boiling Springs, Beverly Eaves (Maurice) of Shelby, Dr. LaToya Eaves of Willimantic, Conn., Pamela Eaves (Timothy) of Huntersville; mother, Ina Harris of Shelby; two brothers, Franklin Harris of Shelby and Curtis Harris (Sherise) of Charlotte; four sisters, Mae Parks (Ronnie) of Atlanta, Ga., Joyce Harris of Hartford, Conn., Lori Hopper (Sam) and Bernita Boykins all of Norforlk, Va.; seven grand-children; one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Monday in Youngs Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Larry Brooks officiat-ing.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
The family is at the home of Rev. and Mrs. Michael Hull, 105 Calton Drive, Gaffney.
