LAWNDALE - Trudy Ann Cloninger Lail, 72, of 1105 W. Stagecoach Trail, passed away Aug. 4, 2014, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.

Born Jan. 3, 1942, in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Hugh Franklin Cloninger and Annie Pearl Brackett Cloninger.
She was retired from Spartan Mills and attended Lawndale Missionary Methodist Church. Trudy had a love for all animals.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Dan and Marilyn Cloninger.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Max Donald Lail; brother, Jerry Cloninger and wife, Vivian of Lawndale; aunts, Dorothy Lee of Lawndale, Mable Lingerfelt of Baltimore and Mary Hord of Morgan-ton; special cousin, Jatha & Reggie Austin of Lawndale; nieces and nephews, Michal and Mike Tesseneer of Polkville, Gregg and Diane Cloninger of Lawndale, Tony and Ari Cloninger of Shelby, Kelly and Keith Weaver of Lawndale and Eric and Tanja Cloninger of New House; and a host of great nieces and neph-ews; and a special dog, Toby.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Stamey Funeral Home, Fallston.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Stamey Funeral Home Chapel, Fallston with the Revs. Harry Queen and Fred Towery officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston
