SHELBY-Angela Kaye McAllister, 39, of Barrier Drive, Shelby, died on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at Crawley Memorial Hospital of Boiling Springs.

A native of Cleveland County, she was born on Nov. 11, 1972, a daughter of Debra Smith Koontz and husband David of Shelby, and Thomas McAllister of Shelby. She was a waitress and member of Sisk Memorial Missionary Methodist Church. She also loved to read.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Nancy and Junior Smith; one uncle, Richard McAllister; and step-grandfather, Elmer Koontz.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Tom and Elsie McAllister; her aunts and uncles, Ann Oaks and husband Richard, Cathy Creswell and husband Chris, Carol Carpenter and husband Todd, Danny Smith and wife Trish, David Smith and wife Pat, Marty Koontz, Karen Traylor and husband Dennis, Dan Koontz and wife Sandy, and Eric Koontz; half sister, Sarah Withers; half brother, Jason Clontz; and numerous cousins.
Visitation: The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. before the service in the church sanctuary.
Celebration of Life Service: 3 p.m. Sunday at Fairview Missionary Methodist Church
